Sigh.
I just wanted to say, tsk, tsk, Bachelor Matt. You dismissed my favorite bachelorette last night. Amanda is cool, but I love Noelle. She runs her own little photography business, she's smart, beautiful, not afraid to tell you that she has a "grandma" side to her (very endearing to me!), and she's from Colorado! Sure, she's in California now, but Colorado! From a city I know, to boot! And I love her name. I think she's awesome. Tsk, tsk, tsk. Tsk. Tsk, tsk, tsk, tsk, tsk. But that's okay. While it was disappointing at the time, it's certainly true that (for the most part), the women who go home early on this show are always the real winners. So yeah. Thanks for not coming to America and stealing all our women, Matt. Thanks for leaving the best one! Ha, ha. Funny how, for the most part, I always end up liking the people on that show who seem like they really aren't quite reality show material (a big compliment).
Yes, I know, dorky show.
In other TV news, Gossip Girl really is awesome, and yeah, Blair Waldorf remains my favorite character on TV. I'm so happy it's back! Last night's episode was delightfully complex and well-done.
Also, I need to start watching 30 Rock. Tina Fey is too great for me to not be watching.
AND, it was so nice to have Brothers & Sisters back! Good show.
And oh! James Van Der Beek sporting a receding hairline and a Canadian accent on How I Met Your Mother? I loved it. AND the return of Robin Sparkles. Can't ask for more.
Yay for the return of new TV! We just need more than a few episodes of each show. Those episodes are going to disappear like THAT.

Yes, Noelle and Amanda. They were probably my favorites after the first episode, and it's been easy to like Amanda since. She's very, very fun. And Matt seems to like her a lot, so we've seen a lot of her. I think the meeps are endearing, ha. But I think I've liked Noelle best from the start, too, and once we FINALLY got to see a little more of her, yes, I knew for sure. I've been afraid she would go home for, like, the past four weeks. But anyway, darnit, Matt. Pfft. Then again, every time I give Matt the tsk, tsk treatment, I think that Noelle's better off this way.
Did someone say spazzy post? I'm all over the place! :)
Seems we definitely share taste in TV, which is fun! Yay! And yeah, yay Hillary! A solid win. My dorky state needs to get its act together. Recent polls, ugh. C'mon, North Carolina! The one time my primary will actually matter, and it may not be a close race. Darnit. I would say John Edwards should come out and endorse her here, but I don't think it would make a huge difference even if he were inclined to do such a thing.
And yeah, big win for the Flyers last night. As a Hurricanes fan, I know how awesome the Capitals have been for the past month or two. It's no small feat knocking them out. I miss having a team in the playoffs. Playoff hockey is exciting. But hey, go Flyers!
I thought Chelsea would go home last week. Kinda thought the whole "eww, holding hands is SO GROSS whywouldanyoneeverwanttodothatewwewwewwwwww!" would do her in. But no. That would have probably ended it for me had I been Mr. Bachelor Matt Grant, in town to steal women, but I think hand holding is keen, so maybe that's just me. Also, I think Chelsea could beat me up. Which is, oddly enough, not something I look for in a girl.
Okay, that paragraph was more fun to write than anticipate. Yay me!
And if I could rustle up votes for Hillary, I would. As it is, I don't even know if my vote will make a difference. It looks bleak. At least I get to see campaign ads this year (which I admit, Obama does well)! I would spread the word to all my voter friends to vote for Hillary, but alas, I feel uncomfortable talking politics with most people, and also I'm a weird, scary shut-in. Ha, ha. No, I kid. Kinda. |:-)
Never done that kind of text face before. I'm going for "unibrow."
And hey, again, Go Flyers! First game was a bummer, but I think they'll be okay.
